Quantum Labs is using classical and quantum physical sciences in exploring the
limits of the fabrication of nanometer-scale electronic and opto-electronic
structures and the measurement and understanding of their fundamental
properties.
Quantum Labs research into nano-electronics is aimed at exploring the limits for
the power efficiency and speed of computation which is expected by many to be an
improvement of a factor of at least one billion beyond the presently known
capabilities of silicon integrated circuits.
Quantum Labs is open to researchers with broad range of academic disciplines,
including computer science, solid state physics, electrical engineering,
materials science and chemistry.
